Throughout my educational career, I have facilitated 20+ in person, online, and hybrid professional development workshops in six countries-America, Thailand, Vietnam, Karakalpakstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan-training more than 1,500+ teachers, administrators, educational support staff, and students. My workshops have focused on academic writing, research, and publishing strategies, organizational leadership principles, grading and assessment practices, TESOL methodology, Socratic Seminars, and the integration of AI in the classroom. I also specialize in student-centered teaching frameworks, including Bloom's Revised Taxonomy, Webb's Depth of Knowledge, and Costa's Levels of Questioning, as well as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, Differentiated Instruction strategies, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for diverse learners.
The 2024-2025 Silk Road Educators Training Series was conceptualized, developed, and implemented as a comprehensive professional development initiative aimed at fostering educational dialogue and capacity-building across colleges situated along the historic Silk Road in Central Asia. This yearlong series strategically engaged faculty and administrators from diverse institutions to promote innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
The central objective of the series was to introduce and explore student-centered educational practices grounded in Western pedagogical and andragogical frameworks. In doing so, the series emphasized the integration of research-informed and evidence-based strategies into classroom and institutional practices. Each session was designed to spark meaningful dialogue among educators while providing actionable tools and methodologies for immediate classroom application.
Through presentations, workshops, and collaborative discussions, the series served as a bridge between global best practices and local educational contexts-encouraging reflective teaching, academic research, and long-term professional growth.
